How to shift focus out of "doing" and back to "being."  47*DURvyzblz.72 View this email in your browser Many times a day, begin again with a fresh mind.  Our blog this week features Naropa faculty and Mindful at Work guest faculty Dale Asrael asking us to consider taking "micro-breaks" throughout our day and interrupting our task-oriented doer's mind with "fresh starts" - an easy practice to expand our awareness and reset our perspective.  If we are habituated to the "doing mode" and it works well for us there still will be times when we need to access "being mode" quickly and easily. If we loosen our grip we discover that there's more play and resilience...  Watch More Mindful at Work has begun online but it's not too late to sign up & catch up! Enrollment will remain open until May 10 Register Now Dale Asrael has taught in the field of contemplative education for more than thirty-five years, with a career focus spanning from early childhood education through high school and university academics.  She leads meditation retreats and dharma programs internationally and trains meditation instructors. As Naropa faculty she focuses on contemplative training for counselors, therapists, chaplains, and working teachers. Her chapter, "The Love of Wisdom Puts You on the Spot" appears in the forthcoming Meditation in the Classroom.  Dale is an Acharya (Senior Teacher) in the lineage of Ven.
