Experience Positive Psychology

Dear ,

You and I are lucky. We live in a time when science is interested in studying human flourishing. You can harness the knowledge of positive psychology to live your life to the fullest, harnessing your potential for joy and fulfillment.

  • You don't have to become a different person (you're enough).
  • You don't need to learn "the secret" (there isn't one).
  • You don't need great willpower (everyone has a limited amount).

You simply need to apply what positive psychology has shown works for optimal human living, and learn what works within the ecosystem of you.

Our friends at Wholebeing Institute have put together these free resources for you, including video lessons, a workbook, and a book:

In the Define Success and Reach for Your Best video, learn the SPIRE model of well-being—and see how others have used it in coaching, business, and family life.

The Daily Stepping Stones to Happiness video lesson reviews the SPIRE check-in, which gives you a step-by-step approach to whole-person well-being.

The SPIRE e-workbook is a companion guide to the video, giving you exercises to see where you are now, and what actions will enhance your well-being.

Living Deliberately is a video lesson about why it's important to pay attention to your experience in everyday life.

The Living with EASE e-book is a full-length book describing a four-step process of engaging with each day in a mindful way, giving you a deeper understanding of how to live deliberately.

And best of all, it costs exactly $0.00 to get these resources. Start learning how to unlock your best possible self today.

Warmly,

Your friends at Naropa

Compassionate Approaches to Living and Dying: Transforming the Paradigm

Elaine Yuen, Associate Professor of Religious Studies and Chair of the Department of Wisdom Traditions recalls this transformational event:  This past December Naropa hosted a gathering of over 150 practitioners and leaders in the field of aging and dying.  Clinicians, community members, as well as Naropa faculty and students joined for three days to share expertise, practice and learn from each other.

Listening to many of the sessions, this gathering brought a wealth of knowledge and experiences to caregivers and the communities they are part of.  We are currently exploring ways to collaborate in the future on programming at Naropa around this work.
